Morning Vinyasa: A Summer Series

During this Vinyasa Yoga series on Monday mornings, new and experienced yogis are welcome to get back to basics. Learn the sequences, breathing techniques & proper alignment while establishing a vinyasa yoga practice.
What is Vinyasa yoga?

Commonly referred to as 'Flow Yoga,' vinyasa links physical movement with the breath. Asanas (poses) that create space and open the body happen on the inhale to allow for expansion. Asanas that bring the body to itself and close the spaces happen on the exhale to allow for contraction and a full release.
Vinyasa yoga can be practiced at any pace so long as the physical movement matches the breath.
Find a spot or pose that feels good? Hold it, just not the breath.
